DNA Training Services have qualified trainers, who specialise in the teaching of Maybo Physical Intervention, Maybo Conflict Management and many more. Maybo is not only BILD Accredited (British Institute of Learning Disabilities) but also holds the highly coveted City & Guilds award. The four day course gives a complete guide on the theoretical as well as the practical side of physical intervention and conflict management techniques. Used widely in secure units, the training allows candidates to be shown the correct way to restrain people if needed, but also how to do it in a manner which will keep themselves and the patient free from harm.
Further training services available now include a complete set of training for secure units, domiciliary care environments and residential settings.
Courses available include: Maybo, Health & Safety, Fire Awareness, Food Hygiene, Hand Hygiene, Emergency First Aid, Medication Management, Skills for Care Induction Standards (Standards 1-6), Hoist training and Manual Handling.
